The Republic of Serbia, was invited by Roland Riss, Mayor of Strasbourg and the organized of Festival of Comic book, to be an Honorary guest of the Comic book Festival in Strasbourg which was held for the 11th time this year.

The Republic of Serbia was represented by a group of fantastic Serbian authors who, thanks to their persistence, managed to reach the Festival despite the canceled flight. A group of authors from Serbia was gathered by Gradimir Smuđa, a Serbian artist - author of comics, caricaturist and painter, with whom exhibited: Leo Pilipović, R.M. Gera, Aleksa Gajić, M.V. Маzа, D. Kovačević, M.M.Brada, M.Jovanović.

In the articles of regional press, emphasized the quality of their works, which was recognized by visitors and the audience, who had the honor that the authors could personally sign the purchased Comic book-books (considering the quality of the press and edition that is really expensive).

In addition the Festival atmosphere was completed by the folklore of the Association "Jedinstvo" from Strasbourg, and traditional specialties of Serbian cuisine and Serbian wines presented by Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in Strasbourg, served during the ceremonial opening which did not leave any of the guest's indifferent.
