The Book of Condolences due to tragedy in Novi Sad |
By the decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, following the tragedy at the Railway station in Novi Sad on 1st of November 2024, where fourteeen personnes tragically lost their lives, Saturday 2 November 2024 was proclaimed the National Mourning Day in the Republic of Serbia.
The Book of Condolences will be opened from 10 to 18 hours on 4 November 2024 at the premisis of the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the Council of Europe.
The Consulate of the Republic of Serbia express sincere condolences to the families of the victims. |

Commemoration of the Day of Victory over Fascism in the Second World War |
On the occasion of commemorating the Day of Victory over Fascism in the Second World War, the delegation of the Republic of Serbia headed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Council of Europe Suzana Grubješić and the Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Strasbourg, Dr. Slavoljub Carić, visited the Kronenburg Military Cemetery in Strasbourg, where, among others, soldiers are buried from Serbia.
On that occasion, a laurel wreath with a commemorative text written on a ribbon in the color of the national flag was placed on the main monument to the fallen fighters.

Opening ceremony of Week of Francophonie |
On March 15, 2024, Consul Slavoljub Carić attended the opening ceremony of the Francophonie Week in Strasbourg. On that occasion, he met with Jean Hansmaennel, president of the French Alliance in Strasbourg and Denia Bahadir Ben El Habbes, director of the French Alliance in Strasbourg. He introduced them to the decision of the Government of the RS that the Republic of Serbia becomes a full member of the Organization for Francophonie. He also spoke about the numerous ties between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of France in the field of education and culture.
During the Francophonie week, which officially begins on March 18, 2024, there will be three conferences, an evening of music and poetry from Africa and the Caribbean, as well as a painting exhibition called "Beyond the Border". |

OPENING OF THE THEATRE MAILLON IN STRASBOURG |
On October 1, 2019 In the presence of the President of France, the Mayor of Strasbourg and top officials of the City of Strasbourg and the Grand Est region, the departments Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin and consular representatives, the RS Consul attended the opening of the Maillon Theater in Strasbourg.
More than six weeks before the opening for the audience, which is scheduled for November 23-24. accompanied by Alsatian officials President Emanuel Makron inaugurated the Maillon Theater, at the stage of finishing of works signed by architect Umberto Napolitano. |

On October 20, 2019 in the City House of Kirgesheim municipality, near Miluz, organized by the Nikola Tesla Club, the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War was marked by the projection of documentary film "Serbia in the Great War" by author Slađana Zarić. In addition, in the town's foyer, on that day, visitors could see an exhibition of Serbian-French friendship during the First World War, authored by Alexis Troude, a professor of geopolitics at the University of Versailles. |
